About Wrath of Gods

Before playing King Leonidas in ’300′ Gerard Butler was relatively unknown. While waiting for ‘Phantom of the Opera’ to be released he took on the role of BEOWULF in international co-production Beowulf & Grendel. The production encountered ferocious Icelandic storms, volcanoes, leaky viking ships, financial desperation and endless setbacks. Before the first day of principal photography some of the crew were already wondering if they had angered the Norse Viking gods. At the end of the production some of them were glad they got out alive. All future filmmakers should see what it can take to make a movie in extreme circumstances. Wrath of Gods, the award winning documentary by Jon Gustafsson, is the hilarious inside story of true grit and determination that takes you deep into the realm of movie making, capturing the unwavering spirit of “do or die” as director, cast, and crew embark on Iceland to make the epic film Beowulf & Grendel.

A nine-year old girl finds courage to stand up against bullies.

STORY OUTLINE

This is a story of a little girl overcoming her fear. When we see her for the first time she is at her home, scared of the world that surrounds her. She is an observer when she watches her parents argue and other kids play. She has no friends and other kids often laugh at her. That causes her to shut off and makes her shy and afraid to become visible to others. But when she sees a classmate bullied by two older boys, she is the only one who takes a stand and causes other kids to join her. By overcoming her shyness and fear, the girl takes an action and is able to make a difference.
